The name Paramatma comes from Sanskrit and it means “the Divine Consciousness”. It refers to Brahma, the creator in Hinduism. Its counterpart is Jiva, meaning “the Human Consciousness”. The old Hindu scrolls are sacred texts, written by Rishis (Seers). Rishis can acces the Divine Consciousness and the information contained within these texts is therefor attributed to Brahma (the creator) himself.

Mathias always had a keen interest in other cultures. Fascinated as a child by astronomy, it was only a few years back that his friend Levi Cosijn put him onto Vedic Astrology, which he discovered to be „the missing link“. This discovery immediately turned into a fanatical hobby, a journey that would also bring him in contact with Ayurveda. Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda are both part of the Jyotic, which also encompasses numerology. Last year, Mathias obtained his certifiction for Ayurvedic massages at AAS (Academi For Ayurvedic Studies).
His self study in Vedic Astrology is centered around the empirical method of Ernst Wilhelm. This method basically consists of testing different approaches to interpreting charts on a large number of charts from many different people, in order to determine the efficiency of the techniques. During his self study, Mathias repeated these experiments with charts of people around him, so the results of interpreting charts were verifiable. By doing so, he has been able to see for himself just how accurate an impression of a person's life and life events can be seen in the position of the planets at the moment of birth.
